Terms and Conditions
Bookings:
£50.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking the course. The remaining balance payment must be made within 3 days of the booking or a day before the training date, whichever is earlier.
Booking Confirmation:
Upon receipt of the signed booking form, a confirmation letter will be sent to you along with joining instructions and an invoice.
Certification:
Certificates are only issued on receipt of full payment of course.
Payment
Full payment is required prior to course date (unless prior terms and conditions have been agreed).

We will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to our terms and conditions; the current rate of interest is 8% plus the Bank of England base rate.
Cancellations

Over 21 days’ notice – Full refund minus 25% Administration fee per booking.

14 - 21 days’ notice – 50% refund.

Less than 14 days’ notice – No refund and therefore full course fee payable.
Transfer Fee:
Transfer requests to another course date will incur a 25% Administration fee per booking.
Substitutions:
Substitutions can be made on non-registered courses free of charge. On registered coursesthere may be a fee to transfer registration.
Non-attendance:
If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked and have not given prior notice (see above ‘Cancellations’), then no refund will be made and therefore full course fee is required.
NB : ACT reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule courses if minimum numbers are not achieved or due to circumstances beyond our control. Alternative dates will then be offered and administration fees will be waived.
Late arrivals/missed session:
If you arrive late for a course or are absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for the training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In such cases, the full course fees remain payable. To conform with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements for statutory certificates, attendance at all sessions are mandatory.
Late arrivals/missed session:
It is the Employer’s responsibility to ensure delegates are free from any condition which would affect their capability to undertake their chosen course and that they are attending the right level of course to meet the needs of the business.
ACT would welcome, in advance for set up purposes, notification of any assistance that a delegate is likely to need during the running of the course.
